Changing your mind
For eligible products, you can cancel your order without giving a reason, from the time you order until 14 calendar days after the day you receive your goods. Where goods from one order are delivered separately, this period normally starts the day after the final item arrives.
Tell us clearly that you wish to cancel by email, telephone or post. You may use the cancellation form below, but this is optional. You do not need our approval to exercise a statutory cancellation right.
Send the goods back within 14 calendar days after notifying us of your cancellation.
These rights also apply to eligible sale items.
Returning unwanted goods
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods when you change your mind.
Please package goods securely and include information identifying your order. We recommend retaining proof of postage.
You may inspect goods as you reasonably would in a shop, including trying on clothing. Where legally permitted, we may deduct an amount for loss of value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods’ nature, characteristics and functioning.
Please return packaging and tags where possible. Missing or opened packaging does not automatically remove your statutory rights.
Bait and custom-product exceptions
The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. This includes freezer bait where its perishable nature meets that exemption.
It also does not apply to genuinely bespoke goods made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised. A standard catalogue bait is not treated as bespoke simply because it is rolled after you order it.
Stabilised or shelf-life boilies are not excluded simply because they are bait. Eligible shelf-life boilies, hookbaits, liquids, pellets, stick mixes, clothing and accessories remain subject to the cancellation provisions above.
These exceptions do not remove your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise fail to meet legal requirements.
Storing your bait
Store stabilised boilies in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight.
Keep freezer boilies frozen until use and use them as soon as possible once thawed. Contact us if you need advice about storage or refreezing.
We are not responsible for deterioration caused by incorrect storage or treatment after delivery. This does not exclude responsibility for an original defect or goods that did not meet legal requirements when supplied.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Please contact us promptly if your goods arrive damaged, are incorrect or appear faulty. Photographs of the goods, packaging and batch information can help us investigate.
You do not have to report a problem within 24 hours or have damage witnessed by the courier to retain your statutory rights.
You normally have a 30-day short-term right to reject goods that fail to meet legal requirements. For goods reasonably expected to perish sooner, that period can be shorter. Other statutory remedies may remain available afterwards.
Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a refund, repair, replacement or price reduction. We will not require you to accept store credit instead of a refund to which you are legally entitled.
We cover reasonable return costs for faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods. Contact us so we can arrange a suitable return or collection method, particularly for perishable bait.
Missing deliveries
Contact us if your order has not arrived or tracking shows a delivery you have not received. We will investigate with the carrier and provide the remedy required by law.
Any specific delivery instructions you gave will be considered when investigating the circumstances. We do not apply a blanket exclusion of responsibility to unattended deliveries.
Refunds
For statutory change-of-mind cancellations, we refund without undue delay and normally within 14 calendar days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.
If we have offered to collect the goods, or no goods were supplied, we refund within 14 calendar days of being informed of your cancellation.
If you cancel your entire eligible order, we also refund the standard outbound delivery charge. Additional costs for a premium delivery service are not refundable under the change-of-mind cancellation rules.
For faulty-goods refunds, we refund without undue delay and within 14 calendar days of agreeing that you are entitled to the refund.
Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, and we do not charge a refund fee. Your payment provider may take additional time to display the payment. Contact us if your refund has not appeared.
Exchanges
Contact us if you would prefer an exchange. Availability and any applicable postage costs will be explained before you agree. This does not affect your right to a statutory refund.
